While you work

Your loaded file, product values, mapping choices and edits are held in the browser tab’s memory. Refreshing or reloading clears them.

The tool does not send file contents to a server and does not save workspace data in localStorage. You do not need an account to use the current tools.

Files you download

CSV exports contain the product values needed for the output you choose. A mapping-profile JSON contains field mappings, without product values.

Audit JSON excludes cell values by default. You can explicitly choose to include cell values. Review the download before sharing it.

Diagnostics and feedback

On rowandrecord.com, the tool sends three limited usage signals: a CSV was loaded, a field mapping was confirmed, or a Shopify CSV string was generated. Each signal is labelled as sample, file or paste. Automatic startup samples do not count as file loads. Explicit work on samples is labelled as sample.

These signals contain no CSV content, filenames, column names or values, product counts, identifiers, image URLs, file hashes or session IDs. They count operations, not unique users or confirmed disk downloads. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable them. You can also download a local feedback JSON and choose whether and how to share it.

Page resources

The pages use local styles and system fonts. Website hosting keeps basic access logs, such as request time, page path, browser information and IP address. Limited usage signals use the same hosting logs; they are not a fully anonymous server record. These logs do not contain your CSV cells.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits, referring sites and performance. It does not use tracking cookies or read CSV contents. The script sends page and performance metadata to Cloudflare. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable this script. Cloudflare Web Analytics information.

Image URLs in your CSV are reviewed as text. The workspace does not check whether those images are available online.
